Terms of service

All work is completed on a first come first serve basis. We schedule only those projects that can be successfully completed in a given time period. This practice guarantees that all deadlines are met on time without sacrificing quality.

Clients are scheduled by appointment only and are asked to call ahead to cancel appointments. Please be mindful that your appointment was set specifically for you. If you show up late, you run the risk of having to reschedule. If you schedule an appointment too close to the date of your event, there may not be enough time for the work to be completed in a timely manner.

Please be considerate of the items you bring in by washing or dry cleaning prior to your appointment. Understand that if your garment and/or materials are not pre-washed, they could incur shrinkage later.

If you are not able to come in or do not show up for your final fitting without rescheduling, we are not held responsible for the fit or finish work of your garment, or additional costs (alterations or materials needed) due to weight loss/gain, pregnancy, menstrual cycle, or plastic surgery.

An approximate estimate may be given at your consultation. Some garments/custom work may not be given a close estimate.

We reserve the right to refuse any work from any client at any time.

Alterations, Bespoke & Redesign

1. Payment in full is required before any services are provided. Should Ensemble require a deposit instead, 50% of the total estimate is required at your initial appointment. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work, even if the event has been canceled or postponed. Deposits are non refundable.

2. Measurements will be taken at the first fitting, and may be taken at subsequent fittings if necessary. Any significant changes to these measurements (within ½ inch of the initial measurements) could require additional reworking of the garment and may result in additional charges.

3. Any work not specified on the initial invoice will be an additional charge. Examples of additional work include but are not limited to: sewing on a belt, adding sleeves, adding or removing mesh or lining, or any other design change.

4. I understand any materials that must be purchased to complete this project will be priced and billed separately in addition to labor costs. Should any shipping or postage be necessary it is at my expense, up to and including overnight shipping. Ensemble retains the right to approve any materials I provide to be used in the project.

5. Ensemble and I will inspect the garment at the first fitting and will note any problems with the garment on the invoice. Garments must be inspected at the time of pick up. Once the garment has been inspected and has left Ensemble, it is considered complete and satisfactory. Any additional work will require additional payment.

6. In the case of irreparable damage, Ensemble is liable only for the amount the client paid for the garment plus the amount that has been paid to Ensemble for alterations services. A garment purchase receipt must be provided. Irreparable damage is defined as damage to the dress such that the garment is unable to be worn by me or any other person.

7. Garments must be picked up within two weeks of the most recent fitting appointment. If garments are held longer than two weeks, Ensemble reserves the right to charge $10 per week storage fees. If the garment has not been picked up within 3 months, Ensemble will consider the garment forfeited and has the right to dispose or donate the garment accordingly.

8. Ensemble reserves the right to display materials and final work created for me on their website and social media.

9. Ensemble reserves the right to refuse service within the confines of the laws of Georgia.

10. I release Ensemble and its employees and affiliates from any and all liability once the garment has been paid in full and is in my possession.

11. Client promises to pay for the services rendered by Ensemble for the work as agreed upon. By signing below, I agree I have read, understood, and are considered legally bonded to these terms.
